A novel new era of smartphones has just started as the Samsung Electronics has just unveiled its product Galaxy S4 to temper your expectations.

The brand-new smartphone is  5-inches and 130 grams weighing with promising hardware and software improvements.

Display:
The Samsung Galaxy S4 looks like a cookie-cutter copy of the GS3, but larger. It has the same rounded edges and narrow physical home button as its predecessor. Standing at 136.6mm tall by 68.9mm wide (5.4 inches by 2.7 inches), the Galaxy S4 fits right in between the GS3 and the Galaxy Note phones.

Though visually appealing, the GS4 doesn't reach the same caliber as the beautiful, all-metal HTC One, nor is it as polished as the iPhone 5. To be fair, that isn't Samsung's goal; after all, Samsung has stuck by plastic for a few good reasons, including durability (it won't smash like glass), manufacturing benefits, and price.

The Galaxy S4 is an 1080 pixel screen. At full brightness, the display's 441ppi pixel density looks rich and crisp.

Battery:
GS4 by posessing a larger battery of 2,600mAh stands apart from all other mobile phones.It is said to be 20% greater than S III.

Octa-Processor:
The GS4 is first of its kind in a way that it has eight core processors powered by Exynos 5410 processor. It has eight cores out of which four of them are based on A15 architecture and other on A7 architecture.

OS:
The GS4 runs none other than Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the most up-to-date version of Android you can get right now.

Samsung Galaxy S4 has come out with several technology enhancements like gestures, and a beefier notifications tray that offers a ton more toggling options to quickly turn settings on and off.  In addition to your usual toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, you'll also see toggles for call-blocking mode and eye-tracking gestures.

Screen senses fingers hovering:

The GS4 uses a highly sensitive screen that lets you navigate with long fingernails or even gloves (a must for cold-weather climates.) and some applications react to it. The Mail application shows the first few lines of an email when a finger hovers above it in the list.

Tilt phone to scroll up and down:

The other newest feature is options for navigation.Say, if the phone senses someone is looking at the screen, the user can tilt it forward or backwards to scroll up and down a Web page.

Video playing sensitive to eye movements:

When a video is being played and if your glances away from it,the stream will automatically pause and it will restart only when you refocuses it.

Scroll through songs without touching phone:

GS4 has a sensor that lets users move their hands to the left or right to scroll between different websites opened or through songs or photos in an album without touching. Many people who don't want their touch-screen display to get dirt might definitely like it! 

Camera!!:
The device also has a 13-megapixel camera, which can use both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

Shot &Sound:
Samsung can capture upto 9 sec of audio and Drama Shot, which combines all the actions from a burst shot into a single frame. If someone is jumping, for instance, you see all stages of the leap in one shot.

Instant translation between 10 different languages:
To Samsung's credit, it introduces an instant translation between 10 different languages for certain applications.

S-Health:
Samsung thinks of a new trend; Thus it gave the birth of S Health, a calorie-counter/pedometer in one that uses phone sensors like the accelerometer and barometer to track your steps, jogs, hops, jolts, snacks, and perspiration. Combined with one of its new Samsung-branded fitness wrist bands, Samsung is attempting to replace specialized third-party apps that do these functions already.

Divide your personal & professional life:
The Galaxy S4 also has a tool that enables users to create a dividing line so part of the phone is devoted exclusively to work while the other part is filled with personal information and photos.

Eraser:
It allows you to remove unnecessary or disturbing elements from the snap. You can save the best after erasing moving objects from 5 consecutive pictures.

Galaxy S Voice Drive:
Designed for in-car use, the voice command feature will let drivers use the handset's built-in navigation system as well as make calls, send messages, and check the weather.

Group Play:
Here comes a new colloborative feature from Samsung "Group play".With the Group Play function, users can enjoy music, photos, documents and games with those around them without even requiring a Wireless access point or cellular signal. It enables users to connect directly with others to share, play and co-create content and entertainment instantly. Its Share Music option allows users to have the same song playing on multiple phones in sync to create the best party atmosphere.

Pricing &Availability:

If this phone sounds like something you want to get your hands on, you won't have to wait too long. Samsung plans to stagger releases worldwide in April and May. Samsung also hasn't shared pricing yet, since it differs by region and by carrier, but you can expect comparable pricing structures to what you saw in your area for the GS3.

Overall, the new Galaxy S4 is a very big statement for Samsung.We may experience its features in near future.But, undoubtedly GS4 is yet another milestone in the smartphones development field!
