CLOUD TELEPHONY

CLOUD TELEPHONY
For a large scale manufacturing companies, asset management and tele campaign companies there are plenty of telephone calls pour in and out right from clients, distributors and suppliers and so on. The handling calls may be a difficult task and time consuming. Will not be easy if these calls were automated..Yeah... That’s what the new emerging technology tries to provide.... “Cloud telephony”!!!! is its name :):)

Cloud telephony

Cloud telephony paves way for automated telephone management and all the mandatory information is stored in the inventory database.
With cloud telephony normal telephony functions like making or picking up a call, transferring the call and conferencing the call can be done with easy understanding.

Over traditional on-premise telephony applications Cloud telephony proved to be advantageous. Traditional telephony applications consisted of infrastructure like Main Distribution Frame,IVR and PBX. Without having such telecom infrastructure  and knowing little about telecom technology we can easily handle cloud telephony services. The difference between Cloud telephony and the normal VOIP communication applications the caller and the receiver need not be online to make or receive the call. As this system moves into cloud, it requires less expenditure. It is easier to track data through call recording and message logs. A customer gets into the website of the cloud telephony service provider and gets a virtual number and any number of calls can be made or received through the virtual phone number using a landline or mobile phone.

With cloud telephony, one can hope to find any interesting and innovative telephony application to appear, solving real world problems and serving diverse population!
Tropo, Twilio and India’s own Kookoo are few of the cloud telephony providers where one can play around with their applications by adding telephony functions.
